Christmas

Image
So, finally got some Christmas pictures up...pictures were rare this Christmas...too busy just enjoying the family company. My parents always have thier famous Christmas Eve party which Santa comes to see all the cousins, friends, and anyone who pops in. It was a great night...always is. Then the kids go to bed and we set up all the gifts and put together the complex toys....We always open up one gift before bed...suprise...matching pajamas every time...lol, but we love them. Jakob and I went home and immediatly went to bed after a great and busy night. We woke up about 4 hours later and six and spent our first Christmas together in our new home. We then headed straight to my mom's house where my three nephews were eagerly waiting to go downstairs to see what goodies were under the tree from Santa and the fam ily. It is always such a fun experience to see the kids faces and joy. The rest of the day, we played games, ate fun foods, and enojoyed our time as a family. Not to mention

In NEED of a Break!!!

Although Christmas was a nice break from work...I think I need a break from life! Just as with everyone, life has been busy, maybe I just don't handle it as well as others, but I am ready for a vacation. Jakob and I are in the initial process of planning a vacation which is super exciting. We have not been on a vacation in over a year so it is time. We are looking at many different places but we think we have the ONE picked out. We will see. I have been hacing a hard time focusing on work becuase I rather just research different places and different things to do. So much fun...and something to look forward to to get me through each work-week!

My Thanks!!!

Alright...so I owe thanks to Brandi for getting me started on a blog. I am actually excited becuase it will be great to be able to stay in contact with a bunch of people. So...thanks Brandi! Well, I really can't believe a year has come and gone so quickly, yet this has been full of so many changes. I got married, graduated with my master's, moved from Boise, got another puppy, got a new job, and bought a new house and a new car (now I am broke) and loving every minute of it. I can't believe how quickly things change. I am now a proud aunt of 4 nephews and one neice with one more baby on the way. I couldn't be more excited! I love being back in my home town around all my family. It was like I never left, which is sometimes a very nice feeling. I feel like am so much more lucky than I might deserve but I hope not to take anything for granted. I can't wait for more changes to come our way.
